8th time seeing Aaron - He NEVER disappoints!

First off: Aaron Lewis is ear-gasmic! If you've never seen him OR think you know what to expect due to preconceived notions of Staind or 'country' music ... You are missing out! I am a fan of music, first and foremost, and this man is a TRUE ARTIST! His love for his family; his real-life roots (and struggles!); And his unwaivering patriotism are things that most Americans can relate to, regardless of musical-genre preference, AND are messages we can all use a reminder on these days with what is going on in the world around us! The double entendres behind his lyrics are a small example of his dedication to his craft, and each album he produces is better than the last. The gravel/grit of his voice is highlighted at these acoustic shows where it's just Aaron and his instruments -- no fancy decor; no pyrotechnics; no opening acts or intermission... just legit music, from a legit ARTIST whom you can tell has sacrificed much in his own personal life to answer his calling and provide the rest of us with music to soothe our own troubles. Definitely not your typical "celebrity," Aaron Lewis is more of just 'the dude next door', who has an unscripted, jovial banter with the audience throughout the show, educates you on the real storyline behind each song, and cautions his listeners to not be swept-up in the sheep-mentality of our country's politics, but rather hold and value our individual opinions even if they don't fit today's narrative. I've already got tickets to show #9, and look forward to supporting his music for as long as he continues to produce it for our fortunate ears/minds/souls!
